The VOBox Service
The VOBox service provides dedicated quattor managed
machines in the CERN-IT computer centre for developing or
running services that are provided and managed by Virtual
Organizations (VOs) or groups at CERN.
In brief, the VOBox service handles:
- choice of hardware according to user specifications
- base Operating System installation and software
upgrades
- hardware monitoring and maintenance
- installation and monitoring of common services
Use of the VOBox Service is defined by the
VOBox
SLA (Service Level Agreement).
